Searching for Tippy’s Tickle
In the spring of 2019 I spent a month researching and writing The English Wife in Newfoundland. One week, I threw my suitcase in the back of a rented car and headed off to drive along the northern coast and up to Fogo in search of inspiration for Tippy’s Tickle, the home of Ellie and Patrick and their family in Newfoundland. I talk about my travels in these two guest blog posts. And when you get to the small island of Fogo, be careful not to fall of the edge of the earth! According to the Flat Earth Society, Brimstone Head on Fogo is one of the 4 corners of the earth!
