About Adrienne

Adrienne Chinn

Adrienne is a novelist, speaker, teacher, interior designer, as well as an avid traveller, photographer, flea market hunter, haiku poet and chocolate-eater.

A voracious reader and creative writer since she can remember, Adrienne always aspired to write novels, and, in 2011 joined Richard Skinner’s novel-writing class at the Faber Academy in London, something she would encourage any aspiring novelist to do. Her debut novel, The Lost Letter, was published in 2019, her second novel, the international best seller The English Wife, was published in 2020, and her third novel, Love in a Time of War, the first in The Three Fry Sisters series, was published in 2022. All are available for sale on Amazon, Google Play, Apple Books, Kobo. Read more about these books and purchase them here.

Adrienne has been inspired by her love of interior design, writing, and creativity to run inspirational retreats in the UK and abroad. She leads a design retreat in Marrakech at the charming Maison 28 guest house, restored with love and creativity by California artist Melanie Royals in the centre of the historic Marrakech Medina. More information on this retreat can be found here. Watch this space for new dates.

Adrienne develops and teaches interior design short courses at KLC School of Design in Chelsea, London as well as at COHIM College of Design in Beijing and Shanghai, China. Why not join her on one of her upcoming courses in the UK? Have a look at the Retreats, Workshops & Talks page.

When she’s not writing or teaching, Adrienne runs an interior design consultancy. Further information and examples of her recent projects can be found on the Interior Design page.
